Hustle culture is a treadmill, not a road.
I grew up in the ‘90s without a cell phone or a computer. When we had to write by hand and read actual books for research, flicking pages to find the year of publication for a works cited. Now, I find myself drowning in tasks, a thousand little things demanding attention. Days are frantic, fragmented by small pieces of productivity that lead nowhere. And yet, I don’t stop. After all, we’re taught to believe that being busy signifies successful.
